If there’s anything in the Old Testament we learn, it is that rituals do not save people.
Only Jesus saves people.
The new creation has been manifest to our current space and time through resurrected and ascended individuals called Christians.
Engaging the arts and symbols don’t ensure anyone’s salvation.
But there is no salvation proclaimed through Christ outside of local artistic forms and cultural contexts.
God uses Spirit-filled people engaging the world around them as agents to to bring forth his salvation.
